About the Role

Join a compassionate, growth-minded family law practice dedicated to helping families thrive. At Elise Buie Family Law Group (EBFLG), we combine fierce advocacy with civility and a people-first culture.

We are hiring for a senior operations leader, with title and scope determined based on experience and demonstrated capability. Depending on the depth of leadership experience, operational expertise, and strategic ownership the candidate brings, this role may be scoped as either an Operations Director or Chief Operating Officer.

We’re seeking an experienced operational leader who thrives in cross-functional leadership, systems design, and strategic execution. This role is ideal for someone who can bring structure to complexity, build scalable systems, and help a growing law firm operate with clarity, consistency, and excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, document, and continuously improve end-to-end operational systems across the full client lifecycle
  • Lead cross-functional operations across HR, administration, firm technology, and employee experience initiatives
  • Ensure seamless handoffs between sales, intake, legal, admin, and billing
  • Identify bottlenecks, reduce friction, and implement scalable solutions that improve quality and efficiency
  • Support leadership with data, analysis, and operational insight to inform decisions
  • Own and optimize the firm’s operational technology stack, workflows, and internal systems
  • Partner with leaders across departments to create clarity around ownership, accountability, and execution

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of operations experience, ideally in a law firm or professional services environment
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional operations
  • Proven ability to build, improve, and scale systems across multiple departments
  • Strong business judgment, problem-solving skills, and operational follow-through
  • Experience with legal or professional services workflows, processes, and compliance considerations
  • High level of comfort with technology, systems, and process improvement
  • Clear, confident communication and the ability to lead with accountability and collaboration

What You Get

Full-time employees and/or their dependents are offered partially subsidized medical and dental insurance, long-term disability, life insurance, and a matching 401k plan, subject to plan requirements. Employees will also receive annual paid time off including, 9 paid holidays, 5 paid personal days, up to 4 weeks paid and up to 8 weeks unpaid bonding leave, 8 hours of paid volunteer time, and additional sick time. Compensation: $100,000 – $185,000 base salary, depending on experience, skillset, and the level at which the role is scoped
