Emily Gallaher

Emily Gallaher is a dedicated legal assistant at Elise Buie Family Law Group, bringing a unique blend of research expertise and compassionate client support to the legal field. With two decades of experience in libraries, including her role as a clinical librarian at Washington University School of Medicine and its affiliated hospitals, Emily specialized in teaching database research methods and promoting evidence based medicine.
Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in art history from the University of Missouri – Kansas City and a Master of Library and Information Science from the Uni-versity of Missouri Columbia. She is currently expanding her legal knowl-edge by pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Webster University.
A passionate advocate for neurodiversity, mental health, and early child-hood development intervention, Emily is committed to supporting clients with empathy and understanding. Her personal experience navigating di-vorce enables her to connect deeply with clients facing difficult transitions.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys exploring St. Louis with her son, tending her garden, and spending time with her two black cats, Bowser and Zelda. She also loves visiting museums and discovering new local restaurants.
