Philosophy and Background
Following in his father’s footsteps, Josh is a second-generation attorney focused on providing the best legal services possible. He understands that the most effective approach often involves taking the decision-making power out of the hands of the family court system and placing it back into the hands of his clients.
Josh strives for solutions that work best for all parties involved, believing strongly in working with his clients to educate them about the legal process and empower them to make the best decisions for their future.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Josh taught high school English and coached the girls’ volleyball team in their inaugural season as a competitive program.
Josh holds his B.A. in English from BYU and his J.D. from the Texas A&M School of Law. He is currently pursuing his MBA from the University of Washington.
He is fluent in Khmer (Cambodian) after living in Cambodia for two years.
Role in the Seattle Community
Josh is an active member of the Collaborative Professionals of Washington and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
In his free time, Josh enjoys playing any sport he can find, though he is partial to volleyball, tennis, and soccer. He is also an avid supporter of local sports, cheering on the Kraken, Seahawks, Mariners, Sounders, and Storm. Josh also enjoys playing board games and was the 2024 Northwest Regional Champion in the card game, Skull King.
