Melissa brings a calm, compassionate presence to the often-challenging world of family law. With a strong foundation in legal knowledge and a deep commitment to supporting clients through life’s transitions, she helps ensure they feel informed, empowered, and genuinely cared for every step of the way.

After earning her Paralegal Associate of Technical Arts Degree in 2012, Melissa found her professional home in family law in 2018. Her natural empathy and attention to detail quickly became essential assets, allowing her to bridge the gap between legal complexity and client clarity. She takes pride in making sure clients not only understand the process but feel supported throughout it.

Melissa is especially passionate about creating a space where clients feel heard and seen. She leads with kindness, prioritizing clear communication and thoughtful guidance. Her ability to translate legal procedures into approachable, understandable steps helps reduce overwhelm and builds trust with those she works with.

Outside of the office, Melissa enjoys time with her family and the simple joys of everyday life, whether it’s learning chess alongside her children, spending time outdoors, or cheering from the sidelines at a soccer game. She is a lifelong learner and explorer and has a goal of visiting all 50 states.

Melissa is also a dedicated advocate for equality and inclusion, particularly around disability rights and access to education. Whether volunteering in her local community or walking a client through a difficult moment, she’s guided by a core belief that everyone deserves to feel supported, respected, and understood.
