Legal Assistant
Madelyne Garcia
With more than six years of paralegal experience in civil litigation, Madelyne Garcia joined Elise Buie Family Law with a strong foundation in legal procedure and case management developed while representing insurance companies.
Looking to apply her skills in a more client focused environment, she transitioned to family law, where she combines her legal knowledge with a genuine commitment to helping clients through challenging times. She is proud to be part of a firm that values open communication, compassion, and meaningful support throughout the legal process.
A proud Midwesterner, Madelyne brings her signature warmth and “Iowa nice” approach to every client interaction. Since moving to the Pacific Northwest in 2019, she has embraced everything the region has to offer and enjoys spending time outdoors while supporting environmental stewardship and climate awareness.
Outside the office, Madelyne enjoys exploring local coffee shops, browsing bookstores, and hiking throughout the Pacific Northwest. When she is not reading or enjoying a good cup of coffee, she loves spending time with family and friends.
Madelyne earned a B.A. in journalism and mass communication from the University of Iowa. In 2020, she returned to school to earn a certificate in paralegal studies from Crestpoint University, further expanding her legal knowledge and strengthening her skills as a paralegal.
